In this frequently asked question (FAQ) in the bible, we are going to answer the question: who is the father of all lies?
And without much ado, let’s move on to answer this question right away.
Who is the father of all lies?
According to the bible in John 8:44, the devil is identified as the father of all lies.
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
(John 8:44).
The above scripture helps us to understand who our spiritual father is.
And how we will have this understanding is by seeing the attitude we have.
This means if we are living in sin, then Satan is indeed our spiritual father.
But if through Christ we have overcome the power of sin in our life, then the heavenly Father is our spiritual Father.
Why Jesus made this statement to the Jews was because even though they claimed they were worshipping God, they were planning to kill Him who was even the Son of God.
Most of us already have this attitude as Christians.
We hate and seek the downfall of our brethren.
