in this sermon, we are going to reassure you, as written in the bible, that when you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
But before we go into this sermon proper, let us first and foremost outline our inciting bible verse.
Bible verse about when you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
(Mathew 21:22).
How to believe you will receive when you pray.
It is certain that most of us have lost count of how many times we have asked God for something in prayer but He just doesn’t give it to us.
And we could take that as proof that we have no faith?
But the scripture makes an example of faith out of father Abraham when it states that his belief in God was accounted to him for righteousness (Romans 4:3).
One of the remarkable things in the story of Abraham is that even at old age and childless, God still promised to make him a father of multitudes.
By the time this message was delivered, his wife Sarah had already entered menopause.
And she even doubt how possible she was going to have a child after that.
But did her unbelief stop God’s promise?
Never! because at God’s appointed time, Sarah became pregnant and had a son Isaac.
And from Abraham’s story, you can now learn that the reason your prayer is not yet answered is that God’s time has not yet come.
Therefore, you need to exercise patience and wait as our father Abraham did, and when God’s time is so set, you will receive what you asked from Him.
May God bless His word for us today in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
