Today is Friday May 15 2022, and in the word of God for today on this platform will be taken from (1 John 5:19).

Bible Verse.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Phillipians 3:17-21.

Explanation.

How then can we succeed in our christian faith?

To suceed in Christian faith requires consistency.

There is no time in our lives that we should claim we have attained perfection.

Sometimes our past seems to hunt us, seeking to rob us of the possibility of a brighter future.

Paul, the writer of the above scripture as we know was formally a persecutor of the Christian faith, but on his way to Damascus he was converted.

Most times, it is certain that Paul was always hunted by his past, which made him feel unworthy to serve Christ.

But today, Paul has shown us the technique he used to escape this; which is forgeting the past and looking up to what the future holds.

Consequently, we should also adopt this concept into our Christian life if we want to succeed in serving Christ.

May God bless His word for us today in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
