In this frequently asked question (FAQ) in the bible, we are going to answer the question how do we become new creatures in Christ?
But before we do so, let us first and foremost outline the bible verse where we have this question.
Bible verse about how to become new creatures in Christ.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ , he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.(2 Corinthians 5:17)
How to become new creatures in Christ.
Becoming a new creature in Christ means that you are doing away with your old sinful lifestyle, and is now living a righteous life in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, the only way we can become new creatures in Christ is by imitating His lifestyle.
And the only way for us to imitate His lifestyle is by listening to and obeying His words.
The word of God.
Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because “all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and it’s flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever.1 Peter 1:23-24.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.John 1:1-5.
And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.John 1:14.
Finally, when we imitate Jesus, He will give us all the understanding we need so much that will help us live up to God’s expectations.
And we know that the son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.1 John 5:20.
