For If Our Heart Condemns Us, God Is Greater Than Our Hearts. – 1 John 3:20.

For If Our Heart Condemns Us, God I s Greater Than Our Hearts. - 1 John 320.

In this short sermon, we are going to look at the meaning of if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our hearts as written in (1 John 3:20).

But before we do so, let us outline the bible verse where we have this sermon.

Bible Verse.

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our hearts, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence towards God.

(1 John 3:20).

Explanation.

In Romans 2:12-16, the bible shows that the laws of God are written in everybody’s heart; irrespective of their religious inclination.

And that whatever becomes of our actions is judged by our heart, which houses the human conscience.

Think about those times you do something wrong, and even if nobody saw you when you do it; you continue to live with so much guilt.

For that reason, we must all watch what comes out of our hearts because they are going to determine our actions as our Lord Jesus revealed in the scripture below.

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Mathew 15:9.
