We are also going to look at the types of healing as well as the healing miracles that was performed by our Lord Jesus in the bile.
And we are going to end it by looking at the various bible verses that talks about healing.

Because learning about how others, who had the same problem or sickness you are having and were restored back to good health; will most likely help you gain the confidence that will bring about your healing.
Without much ado, let’s look at what is healing.
What is healing?
Definition of healing according to the bible.
Having studied the various bible passages where people were healed, especially by our Lord Jesus; as we will see later, we can come to the conclusion that healing is the process where human beings are restored back to their normal state.
Normal state in this context entails being healthy, both in their physical and spiritual form.
The dictionary definition of healing.
According to the dictionary, healing may be defined as the process of becoming well again, especially after a cut or other injury, or of making someone well again.
This is usually done by recognizing, diagnosing, minimizing, and relieving the patient from the pains they are suffering in their bodies.
Types of healing.
Basically, we have four types of healing and they are the physical, psycholigical, emotional and the spiritual healing.
1. Physical healing.
Physical healing involves relieving a patient from a pain or ailment that is disturbing or affecting their bodies.
It could be a cut or wound etc. An example could be an healing miracle performed by Jesus on the woman with an issue of blood as recorded in Mathew 9:20-22.
2. Psychological healing.
Psychology relates to the mind, and this is a type of sickness that affects the human brain.
Examples are depression and madness.
Thus, a psychological healing is the restoration of a human’s mental state.
An example can be seen in Mathew 8:28-34 where Jesus heals a mad man who was living by the tombs.
3. Emotional healing.
Emotional sickness is often caused by a betrayal of trust.
This could be due to someone you love deserting you for someone else, or someone you entrusted with your secet revealing it to others.
This kind of sickness often leads to depression and the lack of trust in mankind.
Though the bible warns us not to trust in men but God, God is going to use men to safeguard your trust.
And for that reason, you shouldalways trust God to provide the right people you need to put your trust on.
The bible in Psalm 147:3 shows God’s promise to heal those who are emotionally sick. That is the brokenhearted.
4. Spiritual healing.
Some sickness are neither physical nor psychological, but involves certain supernatural beings whom we cannot see nor detect by humans.
For instance, in Mathew 17:14-20; we see how an epileptic boy was oppressed by demons which Jesus had to cast out in order to set the boy free.
The cure to this kind of sickness often involves exorcism. That is, expelling the supernatural being that is oppressing or tormenting the individual.
