Today is Saturday, the 14 day of May in the year 2022, and our bible verse of the day will be taken from the book of 2 Corinthians 10:3.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.2 Corinthians 10:3
Till today some Christians are living with the mentality that their enemies are human beings; without understanding that all the problems they are catching with their neighbours; every now and then, is as a result of the ongoing spiritual war with the devil.
That is to say, it is Satan who is possesing other human beings to put them against us.
Before Judas betrayed Jesus to death, the scripture shows us how it all began:
Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them.Luke 22:3-4.
And with this knowledge we can understand that, Satan is still entering human beings today; to use them against their fellow human beings.
So the scripture shows us how we are going to overcome these kinds below:
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Ephesians 6:11-13.
And below are the armor of God you are going to use in defending yourself against every evil.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saintsEphesians 6:14-18.
