Today is Friday, the 13 day of May in the year 2022, and our bible verse of the day will be taken from the book of (Ephesians 6:12 ).
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.Ephesians 6:12
The scripture above clearly reveals to us that the enemies we are wrestling against are not human beings, rather evil powers and forces that are operating in the higher heavens.
This includes witchcraft, occultic powers, mami water’s, even that your father or uncle who has blood money is a threat.
And now our biggest problem is how we can defeat these kinds.
In 2 Corinthians 10:14, the bible helps us to understand that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through Christ to the pulling down of strongholds.
What does this mean?
It means that, the battle is not our’s to fight, rather it is our Lord Jesus Christ that fights and defends us.
Remember the story of when the Israelites were being attacked by the Egyptians as they were approcaching the red sea.
In their front was the red sea and behind was the Egyptians fully armed to destroy them.
And when they cried out to God for help what message did God give through Mose?
He said: And ye shall hold your peace because the LORD your God will fight for you.
And we saw the results.
The Israelites did not have to fight because God divided the red sea for them to walk through on dry land.
And when the Egyptians went in to still attack them, He drowned them all in the red sea.
And this is the same way that our Lord Jesus continues to fight against us.
